12 Best Chicago Events in June
Now that we’re past Memorial Day, it’s safe to say that summer has (unofficially) begun in Chicago! June just may be the perfect #SummertimeChi month, as it’s loaded with festivals, baseball season is in full swing, and we welcome the hot days with open arms.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the best things to do in Chicago in June:
No matter your allegiance, catch some great baseball all month long at either
Wrigley or Guaranteed Rate. This whole weekend, from Friday to Sunday, check out some great music, food, art, and fashion at
Do Division Street Fest, on Division between Wood and Damen (June1-3). Another month, another outstanding beer event. This Saturday and Sunday (June 2-3), head down to
Hyde Park Brew Fest, featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff as a performer! Celebrate any Swedish heritage you may (or may not) have at
Midsommarfest in Andersonville (June 8-10). Honor an integral piece of Chicago’s music history at Millennium Park's
Chicago Blues Festival, June 8-10. Get ready to loosen that belt at Ribfest in North Center, featuring ribs and other bites from more than 25 local and national purveyors (June 8-10).
If you’re into EDM, then you have to hit up
Spring Awakening, taking place June 8-10 in Pilsen. Stroll amongst beautiful homes and even more beautiful art, beverage in hand, at
Old Town Art Fair (June 9-10). There’s no better way to sample as many of Restaurant Row’s top eats than at
Taste of Randolph in the West Loop (June 15-17). Dance in the sand to tunes from headline performers Spoon, the Cold War Kids, Jamila Woods, and others at
Mamby on the Beach (June 23-24). Head up to Lakeview for one of the city’s biggest annual outdoor events, the
Pride Parade, on June 24. Take part in New Belgium Brewing Company’s
Tour de Fat, a celebration of cycling, beer, and philanthropy, in Humboldt Park on June 30.
